Halloween Costumes Monster Bubu

Hi crafty friends! The new Halloween Town Release has hit the Pixi Dust Designs shop! Not only are there super cute new Halloween products but this week they are having a site wide sale with 15% off everything including bundles! So if there is something on your wish list like the previously Monster Bubu Dies or a bundles it’s time to grab it now!

So for my first Halloween Costumes Monter Bubu Dies, I went with Jack Shellington! I die-cut him out from alabaster card stock, black, and white card stocks adding dimension with some dye inks.

With my Distress Oxide inks I inked up a background panel around the Tim Holtz Moon Masks. Splattered on water and dabbed it off with a paper towel, then I went in with Spellbinders Sparkle Silk.

Adding a stitched hillside with pounced on white pigment ink to give a foggy look.

From a Mama Elephant sentiment set I stamped and cream heat embossed the “ Happy Haunting”. Popping it up with foam square and attaching it over the moon.

For my second Monster Bubu I dressed him up as Mummy for the Halloween Costumes Monster Bubu die set.

I die-cut out the Bubu from Peridot card stock from Spellbinders, as well as a panel for the back ground. I ran the panel through my P6 with Spellbinders Aug 3D Embossing Folder club- Spooky Web. I trimmed the panel down by 1/8 inch on all sides. Then for the mummy wrapping it was die-cut out from alabaster card stock and ink blended on.

Next, using the Perfect Touch Arches dies from Spellbinders I die-cut out a second to largest panel of black card stock.

For the sentiment it is also a Spellbinders club this month Clear Stamp and Die-Trick or Snarky.

My third card is making the Skelton Bubu! I went with a pattern paper from my stash. Using the new largest Pinking Oval dies I die-cut out Carrot Card stock.

Die-cutting out the Bubu from black and cream card stocks. Super easy, it’s only two pieces with the exception of his head.

Wrapping around a shear black ribbon and tying off a bow. With the same Clear Stamp and Die- Tricky or Snarky. I stamped out the “Hocus Pocus I need Candy to Focus” on Alabaster card stock.
