Layered Snowflakes

Hi crafty friends, back with the Snowflake background die and the Layered Snowflakes Etched Dies from the Snowflake Kisses Collection by Lisa Horton at Spellbinders.

I went with a tone on tone background so the Layered Snowflakes could really shine!

I started off by hot foiling using the Snowfall Shimmer Press & Foil Plate and Opal Foil on the bottom panel.

With the two panels of pink card stock and the Snowflake Background die, I die-cut out the one panel. Then with a white paint I splattered on both pieces, after they were dry I attached them together with liquid glue.

Next, I die-cut out the Layered Snowflakes from vellum, Pixie Dust Glitter Card stock, and white glossy card stock. Adhered all the layers together, then adding the sentiment in the center using the Snowflake Kisses Sentiment Press and Foil plate.

To finish off my card I added larger pink gems to the center of some of the snowflake background.
