For my 17th Stamptember set, I received the Forest Forage in Fall stamp. Say that three times fast!🤣 Where I decided to do the rock and roll technique. When I made this card I was in Dayton, Ohio with limited supplies. Thank goodness I had my Pink Fresh ink cubes!
I took a panel of Neenah card stock and placed it in my Misti, placing one of the leaves where I would like it. Adding ink into the center of one color and then on the outer edge rolling the cube around on the edge from another color of ink. Stamp it out and would come back in and add the lighter dye ink if the coverage wasn’t good.
Next, with a brown dye ink I stamped out the vines of the leaves. I continued this process on the panel using the different leaves.
After all the bigger leaves were stamped in I went in with an acrylic block and in a reddish dye ink stamped in the open spots with the one small leave stamp. It turned out so pretty!
Remember I’m in Ohio with limit supplies and oh not to mention to photograph it! Natural lighting as much as you can get in Ohio!
So, I die-cut out the panel with the Playful Stitched Panel dies from Spellbinders. And with the shadow die of the Timeless Thanks Wafer Die in the center of the panel I die-cut it out. Popping up the shadow with foam on the back. Then with the text die I die-cut it out three times to stack it up for dimension. Since I didn’t have any brown card stock for the text, I took the same brown dye ink and ran it across a stripe of white card stock and used that for the top text die-cut.
For the sub-sentiment I stamped out the “ Thankful for our friendship” that is part of the Forest Forage in Fall Stamp.
