Day 5 & 6 HEROween

Hi friends, I’m trying to keep up on the Heroween blog posts and keep crafting along! I’m dying here!

For Day 5 of the HEROween box from Hero Arts we have the Spooktacular tree and the two kitties! Let’s just say now the tree will make more appearances, love it so much. I flipped it horizontal to make it a branch, worked out perfectly!

I brought back out the house and ghost from Day 3. I kept this one simple by using a pink cardstock and ink blended more dye ink and it. I will say the black dye ink sucked that I had. I was in Ohio and didn’t have my Distress oxides Black Soot. I so wished I had it! The finally touch was add the black stars that was in the box.

For Day 6 the front Stoop! I had made up a bunch of the Spider Web Background plate panels before I left. My plan was to use Hero Arts Brick Wall Stencil and Distress Crypt paste. But I was running out of time. And thought why not use what you already have made up. And then I saw Nichol Sphor’s this morning and was like “Oh Man!” But mine would have never came out so cool!

With this card I trimmed the premade Spider web panel down to mat it. I die-cut out the railing with Black Glossy card stock. The curtains were die-cut from a Doodlebug pattern paper pack Behind the lights I used a vellum. The sentiment was from Day 2 that I stamped and white heat embossed!

Let’s hope I can make it back with the rest of HEROween!
