Hi friends, sorry I haven’t been here lately! With all of the cards being made for the Heroween plus my other commitments I’ve been a slacker on my blog! I may go back and write a few up for the previous cards already posted on Instagram.

Anyhow, today I have the Beary Sweet Holiday collection by my friend Carly Tee over at Hero Arts. This is a add on to the previously released Bear Hugs Collection.

Using the Bear Hugs Holiday Accessories dies I did-cut out the Pumpkin and the Witches Hat. This is a great set not only to use with the the Bear Hug dies but they can be used individually.

Then with the Candy Kebob Halloween Dies, I die-cut out a few of the candies that I felt would look good with my color combination I was using. Keeping it to just pink, orange, black and white.

Next I die cut out a panel of white card stock using the largest Playful Stitched Panels Etched Dies at Spellbinders. In the bottom right side I did a soft pink blend in the corner with my Simon Says Pawsitively dye ink, so there will be be a glow behind the elements.

Before I start attaching the die-cut pieces to the panel, I need a sentiment. Keeping it in thirds, the bottom third is my die-cuts. The middle would stay blank and the top third was for my sentiment.

Using the Sweet Wishes Stamp & Cut, I stamped out the large “Sweet” with dye ink. Then underneath connecting the “e” and the “t” I stamped the “ spooky wishes” in Nocturnal black pigment ink.

Now I can attaching the die-cut elements with 3d foam squares behind the pumpkin bucket, candy corn and the goat candy. Thin foam behind the two round candies, the rest were glued directly to the panel.

I should also mention on the hat there isn’t a band to go on it, so I used the handle of the Pumpkin bucket and snipped it off.
