Hi friends, I thought I would go back and do a write up on the Kitty Squeezer Dies and the Hide and Peek Stamp and Cut from Hero Arts even though I already posted on Instagram.

I started off doing the Kitty Squeezer Dies first because I knew it wouldn’t take long to make, it’s so big! I die-cut it out of Fawn Card Stock from Spellbinders. Then I went over to my dye inks to a shading on the edges for dimension. My Copics were right in front of me and I thought why not try to make it a calico cat by stripes to it. So with my E35 I just started swiping in with a triangle shape in threes. And it worked perfectly! I finished attaching it together with liquid glue.

Next using the new Cozy Vibes Cling Stamp and a standard A-2 panel of Carrot card stock in my Misti. I inked it up with a darker orange dye ink and stamped out the script, keeping it a tone on tone background. I love these new word cling stamps they’re making!

With the Kitty Squeezer set there is a leave, pumpkin or candy Corn dies. I went with the leaves, I’ve made so so many Halloween cards it was nice to do a fall card! I die-cut out two from a red brown and Cinnamon Card stock from Spellbinders. Adding on brown dye ink to the centers of the leave. Tucking them under the one arm, speaking of arm. I forgot to mention that I stuck a piece of scrap paper underneath the arm to add shading to the bottom of each arm.

Using Hide and Peek stamp set I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment. cutting it out with the matching die.

For my second card I found a pretty pattern paper in my stash from Echo Park, giving me inspiration on my colors I used.

Using the Hide and Peek stamp set, I stamped out the images onto OLO premium card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. COPIC colored the images in except the cat. Once the coloring was done I used the matching dies to cut them out.

Next with the second largest Perfect Touch Rectangle Dies ( On Sale Right now!) I die-cut out a panel of white card stock. Then I trimmed down a panel of Cinnamon card stock 1/16 longer on all four sides to mat the white panel.

I placed the images out to get an idea of where I wanted to stamp out the kitty. Having it in my Misti I stamped it out with a Mocha Dye ink from SSS.

I stamped and cream heat embossed the sentiment. Die cutting it out with its matching dies. Popped it up with a thin foam strip.

I attached the rest of the images to the panel around the kitty and having leaves floating in the air.
