Hi Crafty friends, the new Hero Arts release is now available with the Unbelievably Awesome Stamps & Dies. When I saw that it was Nessie, I had to have it. The stamp sets are so fun, and than there is a large Nessie Die set that I will show in a few days.
For my first card I stamped out the castle and mountain horizon from the Unbelievably Awesome Stamp directly onto the OLO Premium Blend panel. Then stamped again on masking paper, cut it out and layered over the images on the panel. Then I went in with a blue dye ink and brush I created the water and then with the remaining ink on the brush die the sky.

Then with the images from the stamp sets I stamped them out and copic colored them. Of course I didn’t do enough fish and had to go back and do more. Once the sea grasses, Nessie, and fish were colored I die-cut them out with their Coordinating dies.
Next, I removed the masks and with my Copic E43 went in and blended between the mountains and the water a shadow and of the castle.

Then I placed Nessie on the panel to know where I could stamp on the waves from the set with a darker teal dye ink.
With the new Unbelievably Awesome Banner Stamp set, I stamped out the banner and the sentiment on it and die-cut it out with its matching die.

Before I started to assemble my card, I stamped out the fireworks and star from the Unbelievably Awesome Banner stamp set directly onto the panel. And with the Perfect Touch Rectangle and Tag Die Set cut the panel down to A2 size.
For the assembly I popped up the top of Nessie along with the flag banner with foam squares. The bottom of Nessie I glued directly to the panel with liquid glue. Then I went over it with the BG01 Copic to give it the under water look.

With my second card I used the new Lake of Legends Stencil and a standard A2 panel of Neenah on a grip mat. Inking the layers on with a dye ink, I kept it pretty basic. Then I trimmed it out with the second largest Perfect Touch Arches & Tag Dies. To mat the arch I went back and found a size bigger with the Essential Arches Dies and a darker teal card stock.
I used the same Essential Arches die and made my shaped card panel with it.
Then with the Unbelievably Awesome Stamp set I stamped out the Nessie, fish and the seaweed. Copic colored them in and then die-cut the images out with their Coordinating dies.
From the set I stamped out “You’re Unbelievably Awesome” and trimmed it apart because it was too long for the area. Popping the sentiment up with a foam strip on the back.
I then assembled the card with the top of Nessie glued down directly to the panel along with the fish and seaweed. Trimming off the overhang of the seaweed on the bottom of the panel.
