Hi crafty friends, it’s release day over at Trinity Stamps. It’s a small circle shaped card release but very tropical!
There is a Instagram Hop going on right now until July 9th to enter. For a chance to win a $25 gift card to shop at Trinity Stamps.

Today, I have the Tiny Island dies along with previously released Circle Shape Card Die.
The first thing I did was use the Circle Shape Card die and a white panel measuring 5.5 X 8.5 inches and ran it through my Platinum 6 to make my card base.
Then with the Tiny Island Dies I die cut out each layer of the waves in three different teal colors. Add some dye ink on the edges to give it some dimension.
Then I die cut out the island and palm trees add the ink as well to give it a little more interest otherwise they were just flat looking.
With the Circle Shape card die, I die-cut out on one side a blue card stock for the sky. Then I have sky stencil that was a freebie from some time ago and pounced on white pigment ink.
There isn’t a sentiment in the set and I felt like it was missing something. So I went through my Trinity Stash. I found the “Thinking of you” sentiment from the Multi Porpoise stamp set. I stamped it directly onto one of the waves.
I then started to assemble my card with liquid glue. Starting with the blue sky and then the waves. Tucking the island in between two of the layers. Adding foam squares to the back of the sail boat and attaching it.
The final touch was adding lots of white highlights to the trees and the sailboat.
Looking at it now I should have added some splatter and sparkle. I mean the water should glisten.
