Santa & Elf Toppers

It’s Christmas in July Release day here at Pixi Dust Designs! I’m so excited for this release, I mean who wouldn’t be with it being Christmas! Okay, maybe the Grinch!😂 I knew right away I wanted to play with the Santa & Elf Topper Dies, so I special ordered some Christmas Cookies. I think the toppers with the cookies makes them a extra special treat!

So let’s get started with the Santa & Elf Topper dies! And let’s not forget the Snowman, yes I got a little creative with the die and a few from my stash.

For my first topper I went with Santa. I went in and did my die-cutting add a darker dye ink to the edges of the card stock for some added dimension. For the handle of the topper is used the previously released Interchangeable Bag Topper diesI assembled him and he was looking so jolly but he needed some spectacles! In the new Mrs. Claus Kitchen Dies I thought would be the perfect size for Santa, just a bit too small. So I went through my Pixi Dust Design stash and found some using the previously released Bunny Box Dies. I die-cut it out of metallic silver and adhered it with liquid glue!

Next, is the Elf Topper Dies. Same as before I die-cut out the elements and add a darker dye ink to the edges for dimension and giving him rosy cheeks. For this topper is used the Interchangeable Bracket Dies for the handle. To add the cookie in a 4X6 cellophane bag to the topper I just used double sided adhesive, works great!

Last but not least is my Snowman Topper. I used the same elements as the Elf, but using all white and the stocking cap was made from a snowflake pattern paper pack and the puff if from Santa’s hat. For the snowman’s mouth I used the Elf balls dies for the hat. Then I went into my stash for a perfect size carrot for his nose, using the Snowman Mug DiesI added some rosy cheeks and attached the mitten cookie!
