Summerween

Hi crafty friends, it’s release day over at Hero Arts! And how cute is it that they brought Halloween and the Summer together giving us Summerween! I mean Ghost’s like a like Vitamin D to give them that glow! 😂

Today, I will be featuring the Free Spirit Dies and the Flower Power Layering Stencil! Now I feel like they have a little hippie vibe going on!

For my first card I went with the Flowery Ghost Die, I die-cut both of the dies out with white card stock and then adhered them together with liquid glue. After I die-cut out the smaller flowers I inlaid them on top, and inlaying the black eyes as well!

Next, I took the Flower Power Layering Stencil and a standard A2 panel of Neenah #80 onto a from mat. Using SSS Pawsitively Orchid, Lemonade, and Sherbet Dye inks blending on each layer.

I then die-cut out the stenciled panel with largest Deckled Edge Script Die from Spellbinders. Then with the Largest Nestabilities Deckled Rectangle dies (Out of Stock) also from Spellbinders. I die-cut out a panel of purple card stock to match the purple dye ink. Adhered it all together, then die cut out some additional flowers to pop up and around the ghost. For the sentiment I came from my Hello Bluebird stash.

Now to my second Free Spirit card! I started off with the Flower Power Stencil and a panel on the grip mat and used the same dye inks. Then trimmed it down by 1/8 inch on all sides.

With a Circle die measuring about 3 inches I die-cut out just above the middle of the panel and mat it to a match card stock panel.

Then with the sold die I made the pure white ghost, giving her a pair of glasses from the Smart Glasses Dies from Spellbinders. Popping on a flower to give her the cuteness! Like a flower tucked behind her ear!

The sentiment is from my Honey Bee stash. I stamped and white heat embossed it, die-cut it out with its matching die.
