Hi friends, I have a sticky sweet card for you today. I’m using the previously released Bear Holder Dies, Beehive Shaker Dies and the Stitched Bugs dies from Pretty Pink Posh.
I had this card in my head for a while and even made sure to write it down to remember what all I wanted to use.
I first started with my background that is a 5×7 panel and the Hexagon stencil. Ink blending a two shades of SSS Pawsitively Zest and Honey dye inks. I didn’t do an even blend all over I faded off to almost nothing on the edges.
I then went in with diluted down yellow and splattered and then with a black splatter.
Next, with the Beehive Shaker dies I cut out the whole hives from white card stock and colored it with my yellow inks and the splattered with water. The with a clean paper towel I dabbed up the water droplets.
I pretty much did that with all the elements, I die cut out from white cardstock the Stitched bees, Everyday Branches and the Bear Holder Dies ink blended on color and then splattered. On the Stitched Bees I die-cut out two layers for the wings, one from card stock and the top layer is of vellum.
I wanted the Bear to hold a honey Dipper so I went to my stash. I found one in the previously released Spring Mug Additions Dies.
I used the dripping on the cauldron from the Spooky Mug Additions Dies. Trimming off a portion to make it fit.
Adhering it all together with liquid glue, popping up with foam squares on the back of the elements.
Next, I stamped and white heat embossed the “Friend” from the Hello Friend Stamp Set. After wards with the coordinating dies I cut it out and popped it up behind the D and the rest was glued to the bear. Also from the set I stamped out in black the “Hello” and used the Sentiment Strips Dies to cut it out.
