Hi friends, it’s the beginning of October! Can you believe it! And with that comes a new My Monthly Super Hero Kit – Autumn Harvest ofrom Hero Arts. This month is packed with harvest dies and stamps with grateful and encouragement sentiments!

There’s also the My Monthly Hero Kit, if you don’t want the Colorful Corn Stencil, Rustic Wheelbarrow(pumpkins) and the Grateful and Thankful sentiment set.

As soon as I saw all the products in the kit I was drawn to the Dried Corn Decor Dies and the Colorful Corn Stencil. I didn’t want to make your basic corn or Indian corn, so I googled it. Did you know there is pink, red and blue corn? They are so beautiful!

When I first started I used only the stencil for the corn. And there I a single corn you can make, I thought of just adding it on top of the three with dimension. But then I decide to line it up with the die to see what it would look like! Let’s just say I was astonished, so amazing!

So I started off die-cutting everything out from white card stock. Placed them on the grip mat using the 4 layers of the stencils and coloring them in. The second stencil layer is the solid where I used SSS Pawsitively Yellow ink. for all my stencil coloring I used SSS dye inks.

Next, with the Harvest Marks embossing folder – Sept EOM Club (it will be available for individual purchases soon) from Spellbinders. I ran it through my Platinum 6 with a pale yellow card stock measuring a Standard A2 panel.

With the second largest Perfect Touch Rectangle & Tags Dies from Spellbinders I die-cut out a white panel. I attached the two panels together with liquid glue.

Adding my three ears of corn to the center and popping the center one up with foam squares. Tucking the leaves underneath and adhering them in place with liquid glue. The one in the middle on top I did place a couple of thin 3 D foam squares behind the leaf.

I stamped and white heat embossed the “ Many Heartfelt Thanks” from the Grateful and Thankful Stamp set in the My Monthly Super Kit. Using the coordinating dies from the kit to cut them out.

To finish off my card I popped up the sentiment and adhered it to the panel. Then adding to the center of the yellow bow a pearl from my stash.
