Acorn Shaker

Hi crafty friends, it’s Fall Y’all! I absolutely love fall and this new release from Pretty Pink Posh did not let us down! Love all the new fall dies, stamps and the stencils so perfect for the cozy fall background!

For my card today I am using the new Acorn Shaker Dies, instead of making it a shaker I went with the die cuts only. They would be very cute with pattern paper or better yet make a pattern with one of the new stencils!

Products used:

Acorn Shaker Dies. (PPP) (SSS)

Stitched Leaves Dies (PPP) (SSS)

Happy Fall Stamp  (PPP) (SSS)

Happy Fall Coordinating Dies (PPP)

Gingham Stencil (PPP) (SSS)

Rounded Stitched Rectangle Dies (PPP) (SSS)

I started off by die-cutting out the Acorn Shaker Die from a kraft and brown card stocks, adding shading on the edges with a dye ink. Then with a white gel pen I added highlights to it.

With the Stitched Fall Leaves Dies, I die-cut out 3 pairs of the leaves (Oak, Maple and Pointed leaves) from yellow, burnt orange and green card stocks adding shading to all of them for dimension. I love the Stitched Fall Leaves so much they’re such a great addition to my stash, I’ll be adding them to all my fall cards!

Next, with the Gingham Stencil and a panel of the burnt orange card stock. I applied a them both on a grip mat and blended on a dye ink that was a shade darker then the card stock. Then with the largest Rounded Stitched Rectangle Dies I die-cut out the panel, matting it with the the same brown card stock as the top of the acorn.

Using the new Happy Fall Stamp, I stamped and heat embossed the “Fall” from the set using a cream embossing powder.  With the Coordinating Dies I cut it out and popped it up with foam square to the backside on the right side under the ”L”. In the stamp set there is also a small “Hello” that I stamped out in a brown dye ink and with the thinnest Sentiment Strips Dies I die-cut it out.
