Hi crafty friends, here with the new My Monthly Super Hero Kits from Hero Arts! It’s packed full of Autumn thanks and Gratitude! With the Rustic Wheelbarrow, Seed Packets, Colorful Corn stencil and Dies and the Sunflowers Dies. Which are part of the My Monthly Hero Kit as well, so if you don’t want the expense of the Super you can still get these.

I like to start off with my background and I knew right away that I wanted to use the Market Crates Embossing Folder from Spellbinders April 3EOM club. With the Market Crates and a standard A2 panel of krat card stock I ran it through my Platinum 6 machine. Afterwards I ran Distress Gathered Twigs ink over the raised areas.

Next I die-cut out all the elements to the Sunflower dies. Doing two layers of die-cuts for each flower and I added dimension by using two shades of card stock. On the leaves I ink blended on one side of the leaves to give some dimension.

For the bucket I die-cut it out of white card stock and blended on a cool grey dye ink. Then I went back with a small brush and a paprika ink blending softly in spots to give it a rustic look.

To make the sunflower stay out from the embossed background I die-cut out a panel of Alabaster card stock using the Nestabilities Lacey Circle Die ( which is on clearance right now at Spellbinders).

For my sentiments I stamped and cream embossed the “Thanks” on Acorn card stock.
