Tumbler with Add-ons

Hi crafty friends! The new Christmas is Here release is definitely here at Pixi Dust Designs! Here with the super adorable Tumbler Die with its add-on dies. I will be sharing all three of the add-ons, the Santa Add-on, Reindeer Add-on, and the Penguin Add-on Dies. I know I’ve already shown Santa but I thought it would be nice to see them all together with all the possibilities! Maybe there will be more add ons in the future!

Tumbler with Add-ons Bundle!

To start off I knew that I would be making all of them into treat boxes using the Box Mechanism 1 Dies. So let’s get started!

For each one of the treat boxes I die-cut out the Tumbler Dies twice to make the front and back of the treat box. I like to use card stock that would match the body of the tumbler. Penguin black, reindeer brown, and Santa red.

With each one of the front pieces I would add some dimension by ink blending on a shade darker of dye ink.

Using pattern paper from my stash I die-cut out the scarves and hats for the penguin and reindeer. I left Santa as he should be, a Classic!

Adhering all their faces and clothing to the front tumbler die-cut with liquid glue. I gave each one of them rosy cheeks with a very small round brush and pale pink dye ink. On Santas beard and mustache I went in and flicked in some more of the details with my Copics C1 and C0.

Don’t forget to attach the straw to the front tumbler but on the back side, I have them tucked behind the puff balls.

When you die-cut out the Box Mechanism, you’ll need to cut it out twice for the two sides. Then I did trim off a little bit on the bottom flap and angle cut the corner to make it fit completely behind the tumbler pieces. This way you can adhere the side die-cuts closer together.

When I adhered the front and back tumbler die-cut to the Box Mechanism 1 die-cuts I used liquid glue for a little wiggly time. I found myself doing one side first and making sure that every part of the side panels were straight and tucked behind the front panel. Then I would lay it down and flipped over, standing above it I would attach the back panel.

These are a fun way to give a little treat to the neighborhood kiddos!
