One Hot Birthday

Hi friends, the new November clubs at Spellbinders is now open to new subscribers!

This month is all birthday-themed. I saw somewhere that it is Spellbinders’ 50th birthday! That’s crazy to think that they have been around that long for crafting!

With my card today it is the Large Die of the Month-Perfect Match. There is these large flames but I left them off of my card.

I went with the pretty in pink using the Gorgeous You Florals Dies to create flowers to place on the plate. I thought of using the Be Bold Blooms but I liked the etching and making two layers of these flower instead.

Next, using the new 3EOM-Frosted Finish I ran it through with a standard A2 panel of Tutu card stock. Then I ran a white pigment ink over the top. It really makes the marble of the embossing folder show up.

Then to frame up and separate the embossed panel and the cake. I die-cut out a white panel using the new Simon Hurley’s Ripple Rectangle Frames Dies. After I adhered it to the embossed panel I started attaching the platter and cake die-cut pieces that I had already assembled.

Using the new Clear Stamp and Die club-Congratulations, You’re Older!

I stamped and white heat embossed the “Happy Birthday” on Raven card stock.
