Hi friends, today I’m showcasing the “Be Strong and Courageous” die set from Pixi Dust Designs – Pixi Promises release.

I started off by die-cutting out the sunflowers and the lion from the set. Adding dye ink on the edges for dimension to all the elements.

Next, with a standard A2 panel of Neenah Solar Classic Crest card stock and a Cloud stencil from my stash. I inked up a lovely blue sky of pillowing clouds.

With the stamp in the set and no die for it I always need to figure out a way to stamp in on directly to the card or base. Since it had the lion and sunflowers, I decided my scene needed grass which I a perfect place for my sentiment.

With a panel of green card stock, on one side I die-cut out the grass edge using a grassy die from my stash. I laid out the elements and the grass panel to figure out how much I needed for my sentiment and having enough are for the lion and sunflowers.

Once the extra was cut off, I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment from the set in the grass panel.

Then I assembled my card by popping up the a green panel, lion and sunflowers with foam squares to the back.

I had an extra sunflower so rather than throwing it away I glued it next to the sentiment to draw the eye in.
