Hi crafty friends! It’s Sending Cheer release day over at Simon Says Stamp with so much Christmas and Halloween Cheer! The new Sending Cheer is packed with so many fabulous products for the Team Cuties or for the Team Practical!

For my card today I am featuring the new Happy Howloween Stamp. There is five adorable pups in the set all ready to howl the night away!

I started off by stamping out the these cuties onto OLO Premium card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and with my Copics colored them all in. I used the E30-E35 for the dogs, T4-6, E40-43, and YR24, YR27, N1-3

I didn’t receive the Coordinating Dies, so with my Brother Scan-n-Cut I was able to get a nice clean cut around them.

Then with Tim Holtz Moon Mask stencils and a standard A2 panel of card stock. First where I wanted the moon I blended on the residual ink on my Distress Oxide yellow brush. Placing the solid mask over the area I blended on with Distress Oxides – Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch, and Chipped Sapphire inks around the mask. Removing it and placing on the detail mask I went over it with Antique Linen.

I placed the solid over the moon and put it in my splat box, adding on Pawsitively Prefect Black Splatter Medium. Next I splattered on Spellbinders Sparkle silk for the sparkle of the spooky night!

Before I got to attaching any thing I wanted to stamp out my sentiment from the set. I had in my stash already die-cut out from black card stock the Lawn Fawn Spooky Forest Cover Plate. So I placed it over my panel once it was dry, and into my Misti and stamping with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink.

Once I started to assemble my card, popping up the dogs I felt like it needed some bats. I still had my Heroween Box by Hero Arts out so I went and got the small bats and die-cut them out of black glitter card stock.

On the Spooky Forest there is tuffs of grass that the doggies covered, and in the box there is the perfect small tuffs of grass that I cut out of black card stock and added to the front paws!

My final step was to add white highlights to the branches of the spooky forest. I wanted the appearance of a glow from the moon.
